Abstract: Using a thunderegg (geode), as an illustration, we will be able to see the spiritual meaning of the word “star” and how it corresponds to the heavenly meaning read by the angels in heaven. In doing this we who are on earth who love and adore the Lord Jesus (the “church”) are co-joining ourselves to the church in heaven (the “heavenly host”).

“A thunderegg (or thunder egg) is a nodule-like rock, similar to a filled geode, that is formed within rhyolitic volcanic ash layers. Thundereggs are rough spheres, most about the size of a baseball—though they can range from a little more than a centimeter to over a meter across. They usually contain centers of chalcedony which may have been fractured followed by deposition of agate, jasper or opal, either uniquely or in combination. Also frequently encountered are quartz and gypsum crystals, as well as various other mineral growths and inclusions. Thundereggs usually look like ordinary rocks on the outside, but slicing them in half and polishing them may reveal intricate patterns and colors. A characteristic feature of thundereggs is that (like other agates) the individual beds they come from can vary in appearance, though they can maintain a certain specific identity within them.
Thunderegg is not synonymous with either geode or agate. A geode is a simple term for a rock with a hollow in it, often with crystal formation/growth. A thunderegg, on the other hand, is a specific geological structure. A thunderegg may be referred to as a geode if it has a hollow in it, but not all geodes are thundereggs because there are many different ways for a hollow to form. We can see from this example the outer ring of the cut thunderegg picture that it has seven points. A star with seven points is called a “heptogram”.

If you are like me, when you were a child, you learned how to draw a star like this. You start at one point and move the pencil, without stopping to connect six more points, forming a star. (“drawn with seven straight strokes”)
A thunderegg, when found in the natural world and just laying on the ground, looks like any other stupid old rock.
But to the trained scientific eye, this is a wonderful, exciting discovery! For they know that something very beautiful may be inside that old, plain dumb rock. So they take that rock and cut it in half to open it and see what is inside.
Look at the picture of the rock above. When it is cut in half and opened it exposes a gemstone of indescribable beauty and design. No jeweler could ever re-create such a thing by hand.
This brings us to the SCIENCE OF SPIRITUAL CORRESPONDENCES. This is something the church of our ancestors practiced and took great delight in. It has since faded away and been forgotten.
But we still have evidence from the past present with us today. In ancient caves and rock walls, there are drawings to symbolize to the minds of the people’s concepts, terms, and spiritual imagery. An anthropologist in this world would say this is a record of their culture and history recorded on some surface.
But to someone who is spiritual, we would say the images were something formed out of the person’s mind and written down into a physical image.
Such is the Holy Bible. It exists in a physical form on this earth, and it exists in a spiritual form in heaven. Can a Christian who loves the Holy Word of God not believe that the WORD that became flesh does not exist in heaven? It does because we are told He is sitting on a throne!

Here in North America, especially in the Pacific Northwest of America, the native peoples carved from wood something we call “totem poles”

So it can be said that the SCIENCE OF CORRESPONDENCES is a mental bridge of the human mind to allow it to see and comprehend the spiritual meaning of the WORD (Bible) as it is read in heaven. Every human being is born with this capability embedded in their brain.
Of course, it depends on the condition of the mind. Do they love themselves or do they love the Lord and wish to have a deeper walk with HIM? Are they born again and have a regenerative spiritual mind?. There are conditions whether the Lord will grant the opening of the mind to the Holy spiritual meaning of the WORD (Bible) or not.
This is not an academic exercise to combine the memory and intelligence of the natural mind to come up with a conclusion. This is also why the Lord mostly spoke in parables so that people would not rely on their natural mind for an UNDERSTANDING of kingdom principles
Let us return to the word “star” and look at an example from the Book of Revelation
“And the foundations of the wall of the city had been adorned with every precious stone. The first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst” (Revelation 21:19-20)
The seven points of the “star” on the cut surface of the thunderegg also include a mineral-like unto sardonyx. Sardonyx has been called the symbolic layers and composition of heaven. As we look inside the thunder “egg” we can see the yolk of the egg. In the center “yolk” we can see crystalline minerals which are also forms of agate or as above form “amethyst.” The agate mineral comes in a multitude of colors and compositions. The colors that are in agate are found in seemingly endless varieties.

“Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12)
When natural light is diffused through a prism, it produces all the colors of the visible spectrum. This corresponds to the spiritual meaning of whom Jesus said He was. Because He is “the Light of the world“. The endless variety of colors symbolizes all the delights and pleasures of His heavenly kingdom to be found corresponding to the human spiritual mind.
We can now see that a “STAR” in the Bible symbolizes a person’s ability to see inside the literal sense of the Bible a delightful, beautiful spiritual meaning (the yolk of the thunder “egg”).
This is a God-given ability to read the WORD (Bible) through their spiritual UNDERSTANDING found in their minds to form and see TRUTHS
Notice that the “star” is found just below the surface of the cut thunderegg. The rough mundane surface on the outside symbolizes the natural and historical meaning of the Bible. The “yolk” (center) of the thunderegg symbolizes the inner spiritual meaning of the word “star“. This is hidden deep down in the center of the WORD (Bible). It is the holiest beauty radiating from the Lord Jesus.
We (and the angels) will never find the end of this beauty in all of eternity. It is like a scratch-off ticket the size of a football field. You could take a sewing pin and make a slight scratch on it to expose only a tiny fraction of the mystery. We will never, ever tire of reading the Bible in heaven.

The word “star” can be further explained in a spiritual meaning from other Bible Scriptures
“And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind” (Revelation 6:13)
“And the third angel sounded, and a great star burning like a lamp fell from the heaven, and it fell on the third part of the rivers and on the fountains of waters” (Revelation 8:10)
The current Christian interpretation of these Bible verses is the natural and literal meaning. We are told all the “stars of heaven” fell and pummeled the earth. The end of time as we know it. Then there will be a new heaven and a new earth will be formed.
But in the second verse gives us an even more distinct clue to the spiritual meaning. A “great star burning” “fell on the..third part of the rivers and on the fountains of waters“. Water in the Bible symbolizes the holy TRUTH found in the WORD. And we know the Bible (WORD) is the bridge between heaven (the Lord) and earth. This “star burning” is the injury done to the WORD of the Lord and the people on the earth’s ability to have a deeper UNDERSTANDING of TRUTH found in His Holy WORD. Because this “star” was “burning” (from anger and rejection) it “fell from heaven“.
This symbolizes the UNDERSTANDING of the Bible was no longer in the view of the human mind.

And we also get another clue of the spiritual meaning of the word “star” from the occult.
Instead of LOVE and TRUTH, we have hatred and lies found in the symbolic form of a “star“. These are all emotions of the human mind being used in an evil fashion to confuse and cloud the spiritual mind of all TRUTH and UNDERSTANDING of “The Way“.
This image is called “The Heptagram from Hell”. Hell so dispises the WORD (Bible) that the stated goal of this “star” is to blind men’s minds from seeing the LIGHT of the TRUTH (UNDERSTANDING).
“in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them” (their UNDERSTANDING) (2 Corinthians 4:4)
We can see that the spiritual meaning found in the Bible of only the word “star” puts on edge the theology of Christian doctrine on the interpretation of this one word “star“.
There is an immense difference in the outcome of the natural and literal surface meaning and the deeper and hidden spiritual meaning of the word “star“.
The natural and literal interpretation of the institutional Christian church as we are taught all the “stars of heaven” fell and pummeled the earth. This is the time of the end. It also says the sun and the moon will be darkened. Eventually, there will be a new heaven and a new earth formed. This we are commonly taught by our Christian clergy leaders.
On the other hand, the other interpretation we have discussed in this article is the spiritual meaning to be found in the Holy Bible. The word “star” refers primarily to the battleground of the human mind.
“But before people can pray to the Lord for help, they must believe in him. And before they can believe in the Lord, they must hear about him. And for anyone to hear about the Lord, someone must tell them.” (Romans 10:14)
Human beings need to UNDERSTAND who they are placing their trust in. In order to do that, they must be able to see the TRUTH that is found in only the Lord Jesus through the Bible. Their spiritual mind has to be illuminated and their UNDERSTANDING opened to see “The Way“.
Just because some concept has been force-fed to us over and over in the church does not necessarily make it so.
The brass hinges on the old wooden church doors are breaking loose. The New Emerging Church will break out and accept only the TRUTH that our Lord is nothing less than pure LOVE
