Abstract: The purpose of this article is to illustrate from Genesis 8:7, Isaiah 30:25-26, and Ezekiel 47:9 in the Holy Bible a proposition on why we are seeing a severe drought on the earth. (we will not at this time attempt to explain severe floods that are also seen). We will then attempt to show the spiritual meaning as it is seen from heaven by the Lord Jesus Christ.

“And he sent out a raven, and it went out, going out and returning until the waters were dried up from off the earth” (Genesis 8:7)
From the “Dictionary of Correspondence”,
The word “waters” definition/meaning spiritually: The drying up of the waters off the earth symbolize/means the apparent dissipation/drying up and removal of falsities (their rejection of the truth found in the Holy Bible and their substitute for their own false ideas).
It is very possible that what we are seeing on the earth at this time of drought and the drying up of the water is not a harsh judgment by the Lord of heaven or a punishment. But to show those of His church that can understand the spiritual meaning that after the old church is dealt with and judged, “…there will be a channel of waters” that will replace the dried up old spiritual waters on the earth as in Isaiah,
“On “the day” of the great slaughter, when the towers fall, there will be a channel of waters. The light of the moon will be like the light of the sun on “the day” when Jehovah binds up the breach of his people” (Isaiah 30:25-26)
For it says here on “the day” which is spoken of often by the prophets of the Old Testament. Which are the last time of an end and the beginning of another. For “…there will be a channel of waters“. This “channel of waters” in this case, equals two torrents. The true fish will breathe from this pure water that will pour into His New Emerging Church. “all shall live there where the torrent goes” (torrent = a fast stream or flow) as in Ezekiel,
“And it shall be, every soul that lives, which swarms in every place, there where the two torrents go, that soul shall live. And there shall be very many fish, because these waters shall come there. And they shall be healed. And all shall live there where the torrent goes” (Ezekiel 47:9)
We have to first understand that the Lord Jesus Christ was and is the Creator and God of Heaven. The Christian church attributes everything to the letters of the words of the Bible as the absolute truth of the Holy Bible. However, this is a great error. They do not seem to realize there is a church in heaven and there is a church on the earth. Those people who have been drawn up into the Lord’s kingdom of heaven are those who are His church (or His peoples) in heaven. They do not read the Holy Bible as letters and words that are found in the world. They read them in a spiritual meaning because they inhabit a spiritual world or realm which we who live in the world do not. The Lord Jesus Christ is the God of heaven and earth and rules both and He rules it through His Holy Word the Bible. Since He exists and rules in both worlds it is said in 1 Timothy,
“For God is one, also there is one Mediator of God and of men, the Man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5)
Jesus is able to communicate with both angels in heaven and men on the earth through the Holy Bible or what is also called “the Word”.
However, within the Holy Bible which we have here on the earth, there is contained within it a hidden spiritual meaning to be found for those who wish to find it. We believe that Emanuel Swedenborg was a prophet called to expound/explain/comment on the spiritual meaning found in the Holy Scriptures. And he was called for this task because, in the latter days before the second advent of Jesus Christ, the Lord would be creating a new church on the earth based on the spiritual meaning of the Holy Bible that will be fully revealed in the last time.
When Jesus Christ lived among us in the world the Lord often spoke in parables (stories) to teach great truths of His kingdom in heaven and the life that is found there. He did so that those listening had pure motives to hear these teachings. Often it was said many who followed Jesus only cared about finding food or having their bodies healed. To them, the parables only seemed like puzzling riddles. But to those who found His words and teaching appealing to their hearts, they wanted to know more.
The Lord presented two ways or two paths that were before them in these parables. One path led to short-term worldly rewards and the other path led to eternal life in peace and joy with Him forever. It is no different in the spiritual meaning of Scriptures found hidden in our letters and words of the Holy Bible. One way leads to a great error in doctrine and one-way leads to an open door to eternal life in heaven living in God’s immense family in heaven. This is why His creation was made. God’s love is so big and beyond knowing, He created heaven so He could share that love with others.
So we submit to you the reader, that the second coming of Jesus Christ is not the plucking out of the world the Christian “righteous” up into heaven and leaving the others behind to perish in a long season of suffering on the earth until heaven and earth are consumed in a great fire and reformed. Nothing could be farther from the truth. These people who call themselves “righteous” are self-deluded and should be called “the self-righteous”
We also submit the proposition (the statement that says something is true or false) that the extreme drought that we are seeing on the earth is in accord and agrees with Genesis 8:7. The prophet Isaiah also revealed in Isaiah 30:25-26 that after this drought fresh revelation (“waters”) will flow into those of The New Emerging Church or what is the New Jerusalem church doctrine (Revelation 21:1-3) coming down from heaven as the Apostle John saw and described.
The New Emerging Church on the earth will only accept the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ is the God of Love. They will reject that He is a God of vengeance, wrath, and anger. These things are not found within Him. They are only found in those who reject Him because they are only seeking the path to worldly rewards, and they will be angry with God because it will be denied them. This is the vengeance, wrath, and anger that are spoken of in the Holy Bible.
“The one who does not love has not known God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8)
“And we have known and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love, and the one abiding in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16)
“And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all” [no, not in any way]. (1 John 1:5 AMP)
This is the great error of the Christian Church on the earth. Although they say with the mouth God is love, at the same they proclaim that within God resides vengeance, wrath, and anger. However, these two characteristics can not exist together. No more than heaven and hell can co-exist together. This is not acceptable to the Lord of heaven and earth. He will return to reform His church on the earth and no longer will the church on earth cast a long dark shadow upon His Holy Name.
And we can purport (suggest, insinuate, or intend) that the unprecedented drought is to show everyone upon the face of the earth that soon Jesus Christ will be making major changes in how life on the earth will change.
