Abstract: This theology blog is devoted to sharing the Love of Jesus and how the New Emerging Church will receive a new understanding of the Christian Bible from heaven. We call this the “spiritual meaning”. The Holy Bible may seem like a dead historical book with little relevance to this modern world we live in.

We base a lot of our posts on the Bible Commentaries of Emanuel Swedenborg. Who claimed he was called by God to shed light on the “spiritual meaning” contained within the Holy Bible. It could be said that the angels in heaven have this same Holy book, but they read this book differently because they read it as a spiritual book. Because they exist in the eternal spiritual realm of heaven. We read this same book in a natural realm. Therefore our book contains letters and characters to form words that we can understand in the natural world.
It is well known the Holy Bible is among those of the Christian faith that it also has a spiritual meaning. The words and teaching of Jesus Christ are especially powerful and contain a hidden meaning that can only be understood by those who are those born again in spirit and in truth. They are hooked up and connected to the spiritual realm.
The Words of Eternal Life
“As the living Father has sent me, and I have life because of the Father, even so he who takes me for his food will have life because of me. This is the bread which has come down from heaven. It is not like the food which your fathers had: they took of the manna, and are dead; but he who takes this bread for food will have life forever. The spirit is the life giver; the flesh is of no value: the words which I have said to you are spirit and they are life.” (John 6:57-58, 63)
In heaven, the angels read the Holy Bible in spiritual form. They know it is their “food” or “bread” because they get spiritual power and nourishment from reading it. Here on earth, we have natural letters and words on paper. But Jesus is saying in the above verses that the same spiritual power is available to those who read the Holy Bible on earth. It is just contained within the written letters and words because Jesus is Lord over both heaven and the earth. Each one is part of His kingdom on earth and on His kingdom in heaven. They are separate but at the same time connected because Jesus lives in both realms, and He is Lord over both realms. He is the creator of both realms.
Although we use the term “spiritual meaning” of the Bible in this blog, I think an old-time preacher, the Rev Kenneth Hagin who has since passed from this earth said it best,
“The written Word tells about the Living Word”
“the written Word” which are the letters and words that appear on paper in the natural world, “tell us about” they point to and show us “the Living Word”. The Living Word is the all-powerful Lord of Lords and King of Kings, Jesus Christ.
What good is it to read our Holy Bible if we depend only on religious leaders and our own minds to tell us what it means? The new emerging church on earth will begin to see in full clarity “the Living Word”. The Lord Jesus will appear to us in beautiful radiant light similar to what the angels in heaven perceive and see Him. The communication between His church on earth will be clear, understandable and there be no confusion about who is giving the commands. Jesus will finally be sitting on His throne.
“But since you are not my sheep, you don’t believe me. My sheep know my voice, and I know them. They follow me, and I give them eternal life, so that they will never be lost. No one can snatch them out of my hand.” (John 10:26-28)
