Why must there be a connection between the church in heaven and the church on earth?  The science of physics gives us an answer

Causality is the relationship between causes and effects. It is considered to be fundamental to all natural science – especially physics. … From the perspective of physics, causality cannot occur between an effect and an event that is not in the back (past) light cone of said effect“. (“Causality” Wikipedia)

The relationship between causes and effects in physics says causes and effects are inseparable.

It is an indisputable fact of the Christian faith that God is the creator of the universe and all things contained within it (“cause”)

Based on that assumption and the fact that science tells us that the “cause” and “effect” are inseparable.  If then God so “caused” (created) the universe and the earth what then is the “effect”?

The “effect” then is a nursery ground from which humans can be raised up into heaven after death.

We can go further in the process and say what is the “end” (final result) of “cause” and “effect”?

Understanding the Law of Cause and Effect. The universal law of cause and effect states that for every effect there is a definite cause, likewise for every cause, there is a definite effect. Your thoughts, behaviors, and actions create specific effects that manifest and create your life as you know it” (iqmatrix.com)

As stated in the above paragraph “thoughts, behaviors, and actions create specific effects that manifest and create your life as you know it”.  This is part of the design of creation.

God “thought” and brought into existence

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and empty. And darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:1-2)

And God “said” (commanded) and brought into existence

And God said, Let there be light. And there was light”  (Genesis 1:3)

The “end” (final result) of “cause” and “effect” is the LOVE of God in forming creation (“cause”) for the sake of creating (“effect”) a human nursery to raise up people to live with Him.  The “end” (final result) of that LOVE in forming creation is a desire to have a big, big family in which He can share that LOVE.

We should now be able to see that the laws of physics (natural physical realm) correspond to the laws of the spiritual realm. The cause, effect, and end of creation are also inseparable.  You cannot have one without the other.

In the order of God’s creation then everything is interrelated. This is regardless of whether it takes the form of a physical realm or a spiritual realm. Because they are both contained within the thoughts and intentions of Almighty God in forming creation.

We should now be able to see why it is crucial the church in heaven and the church on earth are connected.  They are both contained within the thoughts, purposes, and intent of the creator God.  They are components of God’s master plan and cannot be broken apart or separated.
