Today I was given an image to my mind’s eye. It was from a blog entry I had posted called “THE VALLEY OF SHITTIM FEBRUARY 18, 2011″ (Image above attached). This is the contents of that blog;
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim” (Joel 3:18)

In the last few days, I have been praying for “new wine”. Not the new wine that I experienced from 1998-2001, for to my understanding, that is now “old wine”. It has sat in the barrel long enough to be called so.
When I woke up this morning and opened my Bible, God spoke to me and said look up “New Wine”, which I did. The first verse was the above Joel 3:18, the key verse. It flashed through my mind that I have experienced two moves of influx from heaven, the so-called “charismatic” move, and the “soaking and healing” move.
Since I had been asking for a new wine or a new move, God revealed to me this Scripture and how it applies to the next move. The “Valley of Shittim” was the place where;
“This marked the last camping-ground of Israel before they crossed the Jordan to begin the conquest of Western Palestine” (ISBE).
Like then, as is now, His people the church are now positioned at this valley, and He is putting all the elements and conditions in place.
Joel 3:18 shows that “..in that day” (day=yome, “to be hot”), ..the mountains shall “..drop down” (naw-taf’, to ooze), “..new wine”, shall flow “..with milk” (khaw-lawb’, richness).
For those who are now camped at the Valley of Shittim, waiting, they shall be given a new revelation of their Lord and His kingdom. The spiritual divine truth of the New Testament shall be opened to the inhabitants of the earth. It will be like a mountain meadow filled with multitudes of wildflowers, beautiful to behold and touch.
Get ready church, get ready, get ready!
Today the Lord then told me to write this down;
“Then as now, things are becoming NEW. A new day is dawning. Open your Book to Revelation 12:6“.
I opened the Book and this is the Scripture;
“The woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place for her to be nourished for 1,260 days“.
The Lord continued, “This verse means dealing with the old while ushering in the NEW“.
So essentially, depending on your bent and determination of the interpretation of 1,260 days. I believe it means 3 1/2. So 3.5 means one half of seven. And in Scripture, the number seven symbolizes what is held holy.
So this would suggest the Lord’s church is split into two. The old and the new. The spiritual living church and the spiritual dead church. A separation of those in the church who cling to old ideas and of those who are open to the leading of the Lord.
One portion of the church is seeking holiness and one portion falling away from it.

So to complete this meaning of 1,260 days it is said in Revelation 11:3 “And I will empower my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
The “two witnesses” “will prophesy” for 1,260 days. “prophecy” means to teach. They will exhibit the teachings and doctrine of the Lord’s emerging new church in power and in truth. This church will continue to grow until it is able to sustain itself. Much like an infant needs constant care and nourishment. While the old institutional church will fall away until it (“dragon“) is no longer a threat.
Out with The Old and In With The NEW
So to put it in simpler terms those waiting at the Valley of Shittim are about to be empowered to cross out over the river;
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim” (Joel 3:18).

Eight years ago the Word of instruction and what the Lord was showing me then was that His emerging church was positioned and waiting at the river. They were waiting to be told to gather arms and cross over into the land.

Today I received a Word of instruction that this New Emerging Church waiting at the river is now being sent forth and empowered to proclaim the New Day of the Lord. As was foretold by the prophet Joel;
“Blow the trumpet on Zion. Shout a warning on my holy mountain. Let all the people who live in the land shake with fear. The LORD’S special day is coming; it is near. It will be a dark, gloomy day. It will be a dark and cloudy day. At sunrise you will see the army spread over the mountains. It will be a great and powerful army. There has never been anything like it before, and there will never be anything like it again. The army will destroy the land like a burning fire. In front of them the land will be like the Garden of Eden. Behind them the land will be like an empty desert. Nothing will escape them” (Joel 2:1-3)
Joel 2:1-3 reveals a story of two separate churches heading into two separate directions
This Scripture paints a picture that can be compared to a desert sandstorm. In the background is a violent, gloomy and fearsome cloud of blinding dust and sand. In front of this terrible storm is a motor vehicle that is outrunning and pulling ahead of the storm. “A day of darkness, and of gloominess, a day of clouds and whirlwinds:“. This represents the old stubborn institutional church being swept up in their own ways of thinking “a devouring fire, and behind it a burning flame“. They are being left behind in a path of destruction caused by leaving and refusing to listen to the TRUTH from the Lord Jesus.
But “the land” that is in front of the storm “is like a garden of pleasure“. This new emerging church is going back to the Garden of Eden! But the church left behind is in “a desolate wilderness“.
A Call for The Perseverance and Faith of The Saints
He who has an ear, let him hear:
“If anyone is destined for captivity, into captivity he will go; if anyone is to die by the sword, by the sword he must be killed. Here is a call for the perseverance and faith of the saints” (Revelation 13:10).
Dealing with the old while ushering in the new
A double-edged sword has two edges, which spiritually symbolizes both good and evil consequences.
This will be a time of conflict within the earth and within the church. The conflict that is being waged within the spiritual world will manifest itself on the earth
The Lord’s church has to be cleansed before His glory appears
This is essentially the spiritual meaning of the entire Book of Revelation which is also called the Testimony of Jesus. His church has to be cleansed before His glory appears.
“That he might present it to himself, a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:27)

For we have been told about this in Scripture
“For the time is, that judgment should begin at the house of God. And if at first at us, what shall be the end of them that believe not the gospel of God? And if the just man shall scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” (1 Peter 4:17-18)
The New Emerging Church that has been waiting to cross over at Shittim is now being summoned to follow their Lord as we cross over into a higher level of glory into this new land we are to occupy.
May Jesus Christ be honored, glorified and lifted up. Amen.
