Lately, I have been watching YouTube videos of a prophetess named Kat Kerr. She recently burst on the scene when her prediction of a Donald Trump election victory video went viral. She has the nickname, “the Revelator”. She claims to have been to heaven to God’s throne daily for over twenty years.

God was telling me the same thing about Donald Trump in July. I tried to take it to some Christians I respected. I got pretty much the same reactions from whomever I talked to. Donald Trump is a rich, immoral scumbag. Hilary Clinton is not much better. What is the point of even voting?. I would reply perhaps God is voting in this election? Most Christians were just bound up in their own bias and expectations.

If God has a choice who would be President, who would he pick? Does he not know the church janitor, as well as he knows the church pastor? Did we forget that Moses was a murderer and a fugitive from justice before he encountered the burning bush?. Did we forget David should have been convicted of manslaughter, before his episode of adultery?. The Apostle Paul could have been brought up on charges of genocide at the Hague. What about Winston Churchill? It has been reported he drank two bottles of whiskey a day. Who knows the mind of God? Consider;

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and God has chosen the base things of the world, and things which are despised, and things which are not, in order to bring to nothing things that are;” (1 Corinthians 1:27-28)

We all need to be flexible to hear the small tiny voice and to understand the times and the seasons. Miss Kerr is introducing to me concepts and revelations I have never heard of. And I am someone my friends are prone to say has his head in the clouds and needs his feet on the ground. I get revelations and hear kingdom truths that I get attacked on when I share them.

For example, in my State of Oregon, the local Indian tribe was the Kalapoyas. There were a local wintering grounds nearby here. How would they react if they were on a summer outing collecting and hunting and they ran into 3 or 4 giraffes browsing nearby? It would be a good thing they treasured animals, or they might freak out and try to kill the things! What if you had never seen or heard of a giraffe, and a dirty homeless guy came up to you and said he just saw one, and he begins to describe it to you, “Yah man, it was about 12 feet tall. It had orange fur, with little dark dots. It had a 6-foot long skinny neck. The head looked like a camel. It had 2 horns like a football goal posts. The body looked like a horse and the legs looked like walking stilts”. You would want to get away from that nutcase in a second! But the truth is, such a thing really exists!

Every day we see things that are so common, we are numb to the wonder of it’s very existence! Before scientists told us no two snowflakes look alike, who would care or even believe it? We could create different paper cutouts of snowflakes into eternity, and never finish. After the Hubble space telescope was launched, astronomers told us there are more stars like our sun in the universe than the numbers of grains of sand on every beach, river, and desert on the earth. And that is just in the space that the Hubble can see!

We need to have the faith to just let God be God. We need to let Jesus be the head, and sufficient for us to be the body! Our God is so immense we will never see the end of it throughout all eternity!
