A Jigsaw Puzzle

The Word of God is a delightful, unending jigsaw puzzle. As you look at and comprehend a book, a chapter, a verse or just a single word, it opens up new meanings and truths. Some pieces are cornerstones of truth. You are able to attach other truths and revelations to them.. they just seem to fit!. As you examine the piece of the puzzle you have placed, you notice a curve, a bow, and another curve, like a big nose. Or perhaps the piece you need looks like it is missing a nose, and it should insert there. So you search the puzzle pieces, until you find the right match, and it inserts perfectly, just as it was made to! And on and on, until your puzzle is completed, and the picture in it’s entirety is revealed.

Great men of faith have spent lifetimes breaking down, and explaining the meaning of each book, chapter, verse or just a single word. Or perhaps, you could say categorizing each piece of the puzzle, to make reassembling the puzzle easier. Ah, but here is the kicker… the next time you open the puzzle, the pieces all have a different appearance. The pieces seem to be cut the same, but now the picture they make up is different! So the book, chapter, verse or single word, now present something different! A new meaning! A new application, a new truth, a new revelation. You have a good idea how the puzzle was assembled last time, but now it seems deeper, more beautiful, and you are learning more delightful and delicious truths from the Lord! This time after you have completed the puzzle, the picture is presented in all it’s clarity. But wait, you realize you have just scratched the surface! You can try and put God in a box that is easy to understand, but that is impossible. After you complete the 500 piece, you realize the next one is the 1000 piece set! The picture it presents could be a big as a galaxy, or small as a hair under a microscope. This is representative of the immensity and complexity of our God. If we are truly to know the mind of God, we must study the Word in spirit and in truth. “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit”. (Rom 8:5)  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  (Joh 6:63)

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. (Heb 4:12)

1st Corinthians Notes – The Spiritual Church

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. (1Co 2:14-16)

For — proof of 1Co_2:15, that the spiritual man “is judged of no man.” In order to judge the spiritual man, the ordinary man must “know the mind of the Lord.” But “who of ordinary men knows” that? that he may instruct him — that is, so as to be able to set Him right as His counselor (quoted from Isa_40:13, Isa_40:14). So the Septuagint translates the Greek verb, which means to “prove,” in Act_9:22. Natural men who judge spiritual men, living according to the mind of God (“We have the mind of Christ”), are virtually wishing to instruct God, and bring Him to another mind, as counselors setting to right their king. The re-organized church that is soon to come about is based in part on this principle of I Cor. 2:14-16. For the most part now, we have leadership in the church based on academic credentials. They are produced from academic institutions. They are certified in academic diplomas. From this acquisition of academic achievements, they are placed in positions of church leadership. These qualified, well intentioned people have been trained to lead an organization, or an institution much like they were produced from. The Word or “The Book” has been taught in natural, or historical terms how it relates to it’s surroundings in the earth. But this misses the mark in that “We have the mind of Christ”. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? (Joh 3:12)

The spiritual church, has a spiritual Word. It is lead spiritual by the Lord himself. He is more than capable to do so. To think otherwise is only pretension. (While writing I heard this)…

“It is time for the Spiritual church to come forth says the Lord. I will begin to build it, and no man may lay his hand against it”.

The Valley of Shittum

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim. (Joe 3:18)

The last few days, I have been praying for “new wine”. Not the new wine that I experienced from 1998-2001, for to my understanding, that is now “old wine”. It has sat in the barrel long enough to be called so. When I woke up this morning and opened my Bible, God spoke to me and said look up “New Wine”.. which I did. The first verse was the above Joel 3:18, the key verse He wished to show me. It flashed through my mind that I have experienced two moves.. the so called “charismatic” move and the “soaking and healing” move.

Since I had been asking for new wine, or a new move, God revealed to me this Scripture and how it applies to the next move. The “valley of Shittim” was the place where.. “This marked the last camping-ground of Israel before they crossed the Jordan to begin the conquest of Western Palestine” (ISBE). Like then, as is now, His people are now positioned at this valley, and He is putting all the elements and conditions in place.

Joel 3:18 shows that “..in that day” (day=yome, “to be hot”), ..the mountains shall “..drop down” (naw-taf’, to ooze), “..new wine”, shall flow “..with milk” (khaw-lawb’, richness).

So, as for those who are now camped at the valley of Shittim, waiting, they shall be given new revelation of their Lord and His kingdom. The spiritual divine truth of the New Testament shall be opened to the earth. It will be like a mountain meadow filled with multitudes of wild flowers, beautiful to behold and touch.
